Safety
is our primary concern at AquaClimb, which is why
we have chosen the Aquatics Safety Research Group
to help us design one of the safest aquatic features
available today. Dr. Tom Griffiths, President of ASRG,
sees the AquaClimb as not only a safe activity when
properly used, but as a much safer alternative to
diving boards and slides. Each AquaClimb poolside
climbing wall comes complete with guidelines for safe
use, approved by Dr. Tom Griffiths.
Safety
Features Include:
The gently textured,
non-abrasive surfaces are specifically designed for
use in aquatic environments.
The
AquaClimb bottom panels are partially submerged into
the pool. Usage begins and ends in the water, making
the AquaClimb a much lower risk than most other aquatic
equipment.
The frame is specially designed to deter users from
climbing over and around the sides of the AquaClimb.
The AquaClimb is flush mounted to the deck and pool
wall to reduce the chance of entrapment.
The
frame tilts slightly over the water, keeping falling
climbers away from the pool edge. Falls are in a feet
first position.
Protective padding around the frame reduces the chance
of injury.
Rear cover system to prevent climbing on the back
side.
The frame to deck attachments are flush to the deck
and leaves no obstructions when removed.
